2022 Sonoma Coast CHARDONNAY- New Release

Description

Our “harvest of gold” pays tribute to our Chohany Family Hungarian heritage. The 2022 Chardonnay is produced from grapes planted to vine on a steep, low yielding hillside vineyard in the cool climate Sonoma Coast AVA. Waves of vineyards fan across low rolling hills cooled by the influence of the San Pablo Bay. The vineyard soils are sandy loam over a bed of clay nurturing an elegant and age-worthy, balanced elixir.

Hand harvested fruit, fermented in stainless then barrel aged sur lie for 6 months on French oak.

Winemaker impressions: honeysuckle, baked apple, brioche, vanilla, nectarine, nutmeg and the texture of whipped mascarpone.
