The American Fine Wine Competition honored Vintner Stephanie Douglas at the Florida International University ‘Chaplin School of Hospitality' in Miami Florida to receive the fine wine award "GOLD" Medal for the 2010 Aratas Napa Valley Petite Sirah. Between 650-700 of the finest wines produced in the U.S. were invited to participate in the elite competition.

The by invitation only competition is followed by the Annual Charity Gala in Boca Raton which raises money for Florida community organizations in need. Since its inception, AFWC has raised more than $750,000 for local charities.
